Saginaw’s Lume Cannabis Dispensary, located at 3446 State St., is the 23rd storefront opened by the company in Michigan.
Lume opened a downtown Bay City location in May.
The Saginaw location is the 10th opened by the company so far in 2021; it plans to open 12 more before the end of the year and has a goal of 100 open stores by 2024, according to a news release.
“Lume Cannabis Co. set an ambitious goal for 2021: To open 22 adult-use stores across Michigan, and the opening of our Saginaw store puts us well on our way to meeting this goal,” Lume President and COO Doug Hellyar said in the release. “We are excited to introduce our brand and show cannabis in a new light to more adult-use consumers in the Great Lakes Bay Region and beyond.”
The Dispensary is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.
Prices are 20% off storewide and customers placing an order of $50 or more will get a choice of a free pre-roll or 2-pack of edibles, per the release.
The city initially opted out of allowing recreational cannabis businesses after voters overwhelmingly passed Proposal 1 to legalize adult-use Marijuana in 2018.
Saginaw adopted new ordinances allowing the businesses in August 2020.
